I injured my back shoveling snow in March 2015. Shortly afterwards I came to ONS and saw Dr Sahler who evaluated my injury and guided me through a process of trying various nonsurgical remedies in the hope that I would find relief from the pain I was experiencing . These potential remedies included chiropractic sessions, physical therapy, exercise and two epidural injections. While I did get some relief from the second epidural, the relief was not to the degree that I could go ahead with my relatively active life without making big changes. As a result, Dr Sahler recommended that I see Dr Apostolides, a neurosurgeon at ONS. Shortly afterwards Dr Apostolides performed a minimally invasive procedure on my lower back at a Greenwich Hospital outpatient facility. I slept in my own bed that night, started physical therapy the following week and was back in the gym three months later. My experiences with Drs Sahler and Apostolides and with ONS in general were excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.
