When I broke my ankle in junior year at high school, I thought that my competitive cheerleading career was over. My heart was broken - cheerleading was my entire life. But Dr. Peden gave me hope. He said, "This is not the end of the road, it's just a bump along the way." Five months after surgery, I was able to go back to cheer and was better than ever. I competed on 3 teams during my senior year and that is over 10 hours of practice at the gym per week. I was able to compete in the 2016 Cheerleading Worlds and finish my career ranking 8th in the USA and 10th in the World in All-Star Cheerleading. I was able to spend all my senior year doing what I love, and that would have not happened if it wasn't for Dr Peden."
